Reasons for a quality website

Top 10 Reasons You Need a Quality Website - pt 2

  1. product demonstrations

With a quality website you can easily provide video demonstrations of your product. Video not only does a wonderful job of selling but it also can help increase your search engine rankings.

  1. competition has one

Unless you are lucky enough that your business is the only one of its kind in your area, you will have competitors. As a natural part of competitive commerce competing businesses will try and outdo each other in the quest for clients. Either you or your competitor will have the better site and get the extra business, so, who will it be?

  1. expand your market

With a quality website you will naturally pick up more business and be suited to moving into additional markets. With a poor quality site you will simply be struggling along in your small, local market, just trying to make ends meet. Which do you prefer?

  1. cheaper than bricks and mortar

The beauty of the internet is that many businesses no longer need to expend gobs of capital resources on expensive bricks & mortar storefronts. Perhaps your business, to some extent, can succeed and grow due in large part to your website…which will only happen if it is of top quality.

  1. distribute information

One of the greatest benefits to a great website is that it can easily disseminate information to your clients and potential clients. This makes your website a wonderful resource and your business is naturally looked upon favorably. Plus, the automation means you have less work to do. What part of your current business could be automated and offered online?

  1. answer FAQ

A lot of time can be spent answering common questions that people have day after day. In fact, many of the questions people have as they research products and services are best handled by an FAQ page. People often would prefer to not speak with a sales person at that point in the buying process and a well designed FAQ page handles that situation perfectly.

  1. local listings

If you aren’t in the local listing services you are missing out. However, to really take advantage of them you need to have a website, the better the quality the better your response rate.

  1. reputation building

People evaluate you based on what you put forth and what they find out. A website is the hub for both of those so it stands to reason that the opinion people form about you and your business will be heavily swayed by the quality of your website.

  1. become recognized resource

Think about your industry and the needs of the people you interact with in the course of doing business. One of the best things you can do is to provide valuable resources via your website. This causes people to not only link to your website (increasing search engine rankings) but it helps to establish you as an expert in your field.

  1. Why not

When all is said and done…why wouldn’t you want a top quality website? Do you really want to settle for less?
