Mountain Meadow Wool is the first company in the USA using only natural processing in its 100 % Domestic, 100% Traceable, 100% Natural Wool Products.  We process the best fiber from the best growers in the West transforming it into extraordinary wool products: knitting and weaving yarns, hand-spinner roving, quilt batts, felt, hats mittens gloves and more!

In order to maintain the open spaces of the West, we believe it is vital to preserve the family farm/ranching.  This lifestyle is at the heart of our Western Heritage.  Mountain Meadow Wool returns 10% of each sale to our growers, a strategy unique in the industry.  All of our wool is traceable back to the ranch where it is grown, another feature unique to Mountain Meadow Wool.  This traceability insures that the wool is consistent from year to year and order to order, and that good growers with good animal husbandry practices are rewarded for their effort.  The sheep enjoy a natural environment with plenty of fresh air, sunshine and water grazing on mountain pastures in summer and near the ranch house in Winter. 

We use only citrus-based cleansers and non-petroleum based spinning oils.  We believe that what we wear should be as natural and chemical free as possible.  All of our “waste” products are re-cycled or reused in other applications.  Our commitment to living gently on the earth is expressed in all aspects of our operation.
